12 Month Warranty
Jet Ocean Sport warrants all products to be free from defects in material or workmanship to the original purchaser for a period of 12 (twelve) months from the data of purchase. If a product is found to be defective by Jet Ocean Sport, in its sole discretion, Jet Ocean Sport’s only responsibility shall be limited to repair or replacement of the defective product. Jet Ocean Sport will not be responsible for any costs, losses or damages incurred as a result of loss of use of the product.
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
The warranty is subject to the following limitations.
- In the event that damage has occurred Jet Ocean Sport will require photos of the defect and a short report outlining how the damage occurred.
- The warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, abuse or neglect, normal wear and tear or damage due to excessive heat exposure.
- The warranty does not cover change of mind returns, or any faults you were made aware of before agreeing to the purchase.
- The warranty is void if any modification is made to the board.
- The warranty for any repaired or replaced products will continue for the remainder of the original warranty only.
- The benefits provided by this warranty are in addition to any statutory rights available under the law.
- Cease use of the board when a defect is noticed.
- Email the photos of the defect, short report and proof of purchase to email@example.com.
- We will respond to your claim as soon as possible and advise of further action.
- If we deem the product faulty we will instruct you to ship the product to the address above. You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning the product.
- Once the we receive the product further assessment of the defect will be made.
- If the product is confirmed to be defective it will be repaired or replaced, and any costs you incurred in shipping us the product will be refunded.
NOTE: Our warranty policy is an evolving document. Changes to this document will be made at Jet Ocean Sport’s discretion.
